Hey Babe! My name is Victoria Tanouye and I am the Owner and Lead Colourist at Plush Beauty Bar.

I have been working within the beauty industry for seven years providing both hair and makeup services. I love all aspects of hairdressing, although my passion is with colouring. I specialize in lived-in, effortless looking hair and encourage clients to embrace their natural colour and texture through strategic colour placement and cutting. This approach allows for a lower maintenance colour/cut and less visits to the salon.

Education, both in and behind the chair, are very important to me. I believe in educating clients both on the processes and techniques that are being used on their hair, as well as the proper home care to maintain the health and longevity of their colour.
Whether you are a new client or an old friend, I strive to make each client feel like the very best version of themselves.

Hey there, My name is James and I like meeting new clients and helping them achieve their hair goals and having them feel fab in their new “do”. I enjoy servicing a diverse clientele who come from all walks of life because I care deeply about the quality of service that I provide.
I am a well-versed colourist that specializes in colour corrections, blonding services and correcting and repairing fragile overprocessed hair. I am a skilled haircutter and can interpret the latest trends with ease, create timeless classics or design a fierce cut for those clients who want a more individualized style. I am passionate about furthering my education within the industry and love learning new techniques and tricks when I get the opportunity. I will always lend a tip or some advice on styling and can even turn a simple blow-dry into a full tutorial if you need the help.
Although I’m not new to the city, I have recently moved from Kelowna and am excited to re-explore Calgary! When I’m not working behind the chair, you’ll find me hanging out with my Dog Tobey or working on my newest hobby of costume design!
